Dear Friends and Supporters:
Dr. Joe Boyd's preaching has spanned almost seven
decades. He has always been busy about God's work.
Not only was he a great soul winner, but his
preaching was always geared to convict backslidden
Christians to come out of their dead and sinful
condition and he steered many people back to the
path of soul winning and separation. I know that if
God's people are not careful, they can spend their
whole life doing nothing for God. It seems like
man's great want is for plenty of rest. From the
time we enter life, there will be many pleasures to
pursue. The fact is God did not make this world for
rest only. This world would be a very different
place if we were here just to lounge around. We
have vacations, holidays, recreations and quiet
places. But, tell me where is the man who has found
complete rest in this world? " … for this is not
your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy
you, even with a sore destruction" (Micah 2:10). "
. . . and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest . .
." (Isaiah 62:1). And, I too say that we must not
rest for America's sake. You will only be able to
find true rest when we walk the street of Heaven.

O lead me stranger to your King."

Let's have more people down the aisle, baptized and
taught the Word of God. Let's have more people
saved and encouraged to serve the Lord and be
servants. As Dr. Boyd has said many times, I am not
going to retire, I am going to retread!
